They were briefed on the setting up of an Arbitration Board, its structure, the manner in which an Arbitration Board should look to resolve a dispute and the advantages of an Arbitration Board. The Welimada Settlement Board was aimed at educating the rural community on the role played by the people involved in this awareness program.
Welimada Mediation Board Vice President DM Gunasinghe, Arbitration Officer Sugathadasa and Lakshmi Sri Kantha were also present.
